Gitare AB is a fresh crop Kenyan coffee that just landed in the roastery. The arrival material barely missed Prodigal's strict cupping threshold by a half-point, so we're selling it as green instead. This coffee features flavors of cranberry, orange, peach, and a bit of the typical Kenyan savoriness. 

Gitare Coffee Factory is currently affiliated with Kimaratia Farmers Co-operative Society with 1000 members! All cherries delivered to the factory undergo the washed process with water from the Theta River. After pulping, the coffee rests overnight before being washed and undergoing the traditional Kenyan soaking step. After that, parchment is spread on drying tables where it is turned frequently.
